COMMUNITY AFTERNOON TEA
Every 2nd Thursday of the month a group of people get together at 66 Farrington Road, Leeming from 2.00 - 3.30pm for afternoon tea and usually some form of entertainment. Please join us as "the more the merrier". Transport can be arranged within the local area.
In September/ October the church get together for an evening of packing shoeboxes with essential items to be distributed to children in less fortunate countries. The congregation donate items throughout the year and this culminates in the packing of boxes at the end of the year. We are also the official drop off point for Samaritan;s Purse.
We also generously support school chaplaincy at Leeming, Rossmoyne and Willetton Schools and offer prayer support and mentoring to the Leeming Senior High School Chaplains.
GOVERNOR'S PRAYER BREAKFAST
Each year in August Leeming UC sponsor 2 tables of youth to attend. One to the Leeming Senior High School and one to the Bull Creek Leeming Scouts. It is a great mentoring program where they usually are able to meet the Governor of WA and listen to a prominent Christian motivational speaker.
At Christmas time we usually distribute between 15 and 20 Christmas Hampers to those in need or hurting in our community. These are always gratefully received.
About 4 times a year the ladies get together for coffee and a motivational speaker, an outing, a high tea or similar activity. It is a time for us to have girl chats and to have some fun and frivolity. Please join us. These will be advertised in our Calendar.
